The terrible thing is that this time I can't piss and moan about the election being stolen like the dutiful, tree-hugging little hippie liberal that I am. This time we (as a nation) really did elect these assholes. We really did. We really, really did. I'm not so naive as to think that this is the only administration that has ever been guilty of wrong-doing. Not by a long shot. But what kind of argument is that to begin with? "Oh come on, do you really think the Clinton administration didn't do underhanded, deceitful things as well?" Hell, I KNOW the Clinton administration did bad things. And they should have been punished for them. But instead, the same jackoffs who are completely FUCKING SCREWING US right now were too concerned with stains on a blue dress to get riled up about bad intelligence leading Clinton to issue a directive which lead to the leveling of an aspirin factory and a children's hospital. But instead, millions of those oh-so-fucking-precious taxpayer dollars went to investigating Monica Lewinsky's dubious use as a humidor. If an administration gets caught doing things of an illegal fashion, they, just like every other person in this country, should be punished. Just because Jacko wasn't the first guy to rape a kid doesn't he shouldn't be punished for it.

Meanwhile, the "compassionate conservative" camp wants to deny gays the rights of ordinary citizens, but tax them the same.
